The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have what looks to be a tough schedule in 2013 after a relatively weak schedule this season. The schedule will consist of two games each against their division foes, as usual. Despite a down season for most of the NFC South, it remains one of the toughest divisions in football as all four teams have franchise quarterbacks in place.

The Bucs will also face the extremely tough NFC West, which is characterized by very strong defense. That division is sending two teams to the playoffs this year, as both San Francisco and Seattle have easily qualified.

Their 2013 AFC opponents will come from the AFC East. Facing the New England Patriots in Foxborough will be the toughest assignment there. But the Miami Dolphins have a very strong defense and some promise at quarterback in Ryan Tannehill. Similarly, the Buffalo Bills have an extremely talented defense and an explosive running game, although they’re floundering at quarterback. Finally, there’s the New York Jets. They, too, have a strong defense and a weak offense. The Bucs will have to improve their consistency on offense to beat those teams.
